Cilka’s Journey named in the ABIAs 2020 Longlist
The Australian Publishers Association announced their longlist for the 2020 Australian Book Industry Awards (ABIAs), and we are delighted to share that Heather’s second novel, “Cilka’s Journey” has made the list in the General Fiction Book of the Year category! Selected by and voted on by the ABIA Academy — a group of more than 250 publishers, booksellers, agents, media and industry representatives — the books that have made the longlist were all published in 2019, across 12 categories. Cilka’s Journey Nominated for Best Fiction at the 2020 Audie Awards!
Founded in 1995, the Audie Awards represent the premier awards program in the United States, recognising distinction in audiobooks and spoken word entertainment. And we are delighted to announce that Heather’s second book, Cilka’s Journey, is a Finalist in the Best Fiction category for the 2020 Awards! The Audio Publishers Association has announced all the finalists in 24 categories for the 25th annual Audie Awards, which will be held at a gala, hosted by CBS Sunday Morning correspondent Mo Rocca, at Guastavino’s in New York on March 2. Tattooist of Auschwitz shortlisted for Glass Bell Award in UK
Announced at midday on Thursday 1st August in the UK, Heather and the team were delighted to learn that The Tattooist of Auschwitz has been shortlisted as one of six novels for the 2019 Goldsboro Glass Bell Award. The prize, which is judged by Goldsboro Books founder and MD David Headley and his team at the bookshop, sees the winner awarded £2,000 and a beautiful, handmade, engraved glass bell.
